Please plan to attend the 2nd annual "Taste at the Lake". A celebration of food, music, wine, and community spirit, designed with foodies in mind. We invite the entire New Orleans area to gather Saturday, March 24, 2012, adjacent to Robert Fresh Market, 135 Robert E. Lee Blvd. From 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Patrons and attendees will celebrate and support the continued restoration of the heart of the New Orleans area. Friends of Lakeview, Lakeview Civic Improvement Association, WGNO, NOLA38 and our generous sponsors will host a beautiful evening event featuring fine wines, beers, beverages and over thirty restaurants for one ticket price. Restaurants, caterers and menu items are listed under our Menu tab. Beverages are included and can be found under the appropriate tab as well. Live music will be provided by the local hit band High Voltage. This year introduces an exciting new Patron level of support. Benefits will include early admission at 6p, tent with its own bar, tables and chairs, private bathroom facilities, a commemorative poster designed by Bunny Matthews and more. Patron tickets are only $100 each! Taste at the Lake is presented by Banner Chevrolet and is a partnership effort of the Friends of Lakeview, Lakeview Civic Improvement Association,WGNO and NOLA 38 . Ticket sales will benefit lighting the New Basin Canal Park between West End Boulevard and Pontchartrain Expressway, from Veteran's Boulevard to Robert E. Lee. General admission tickets, which include the food and libations tastings, are $45 in advance and $55 at the event.
